Nintendo is expanding the Switch 2 hardware lineup with two new bundles aimed at players who want a system plus a major multiplayer game in one purchase. The newly announced packages pair the console with either Mario Kart World or Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.
The Mario Kart World bundle arrives in late September for $549.99 and includes a Switch 2, a full digital copy of Mario Kart World and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo says that represents a $37.98 saving versus buying the pieces separately at suggested retail price.
A second bundle built around Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is also planned for the coming months. That game is positioned around 12 motion-control sports, making the package more family and local-multiplayer focused than the racing bundle.
For buyers comparing Switch 2 bundles, the important detail is the included digital game and 90 days of Nintendo Switch Online rather than a hardware revision. Nintendo has not described these bundles as changing the console itself.
That makes the decision mostly about software value: Mario Kart World targets the broadest racing audience, while Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is aimed at players who want motion-controlled party play.
