Grand Theft Auto VI is getting a hardware tie-in for PlayStation 5 launch day. Sony has revealed two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers built around the look of Vice City, one black and one white.

Why it mattersSony is pairing GTA 6 with two Vice City-inspired DualSense designs, and both arrive the same day as Rockstar's game.

Both designs were unveiled during PlayStation's September State of Play. Sony says the controllers use an iridescent finish and textured palm-leaf details intended to echo the bright coastline, sunsets and neon nightlife of Vice City.

Pre-orders open September 10 through PlayStation Direct and select retailers. The controllers are scheduled to launch November 19, the same day Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on PS5.

The timing makes this more than a cosmetic accessory announcement. Sony is placing the controllers directly alongside one of the biggest launches on the 2026 calendar, giving players a branded hardware option before they even load into Leonida.

The reveal also adds another piece to a busy State of Play that covered more than 30 games across the main broadcast and State of Play Japan. GTA 6 did not need a new gameplay trailer to command attention: two official controller designs were enough to put Vice City back into the PlayStation conversation.

Sony says both versions will be produced as limited editions, so availability may vary by market and retailer once pre-orders begin.
