SPRAWL zero launches today, September 8, 2026. MAETH's fast-paced FPS is built around the feel of early-2000s shooters, then piles on gravity powers, Bullet-Time and a huge weapon pool.

Why it mattersThe retro-styled FPS arrives today with Bullet-Time, Gravity Gloves, coordinated enemies and more than 40 weapons.

The game puts players in control of FIVE, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier sent into a collapsing city under military rule. The main target is SILAS, leader of the techno-religious group IMAGO-DEI, but the setup quickly turns into a wider fight between rival factions.

Combat is the main hook. SPRAWL zero lets players catch and return incoming fire with a Gravity Shield, bend shots during Bullet-Time and use Gravity Gloves to turn physics into another weapon. Steam lists more than 40 weapons, with enemies designed to flank, communicate and force players out of cover.

The levels are built with multiple routes and vertical paths rather than a single corridor. That gives the game room for aggressive runs, slower cover-based play or physics-heavy experimentation.

The visual direction is intentionally Y2K. The game leans into the look and pacing of console shooters from the early 2000s, while keeping modern movement and combat systems underneath.

For players who miss the pace of older FPS games but still want newer mechanics, SPRAWL zero is an easy one to watch today. The official Steam page lists September 8 as its release date.
