Visuals should be as transparent as the reporting.
TRENDWIRE identifies where article imagery comes from and does not present third-party work as our own.
Source hierarchy
We prefer original TRENDWIRE artwork, our own captures, expressly supplied press material, and official publisher, developer, studio or platform promotional assets used in direct editorial context.
Credits and provenance
Hero images carry a visible credit or source line when applicable. Where a first-party source page is available, TRENDWIRE may link directly to it so readers can see the provenance of the visual.
Original and AI-assisted visuals
Original AI-assisted editorial artwork may be used when it adds useful visual context. Such work should not be presented as a documentary photograph, official screenshot or third-party artwork, and TRENDWIRE avoids intentionally reproducing another publisher’s proprietary composition.
Rights questions
Copyright and licensing depend on the individual asset and its source. Attribution alone does not transfer ownership. Rights holders who believe an image has been used incorrectly can contact hello@trendwire.org with the story URL and relevant ownership information for review.
