Supergirl is heading to HBO Max on September 10, 2026, giving viewers a new way to watch Milly Alcock's first solo DC movie from home.

Warner Bros. Discovery says the DC Studios film will make its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max on Thursday, September 10. It will then air on HBO on Saturday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

The movie stars Alcock as Kara Zor-El, with Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, David Corenswet and Jason Momoa also appearing. Craig Gillespie directed from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.

The story follows Kara after a ruthless enemy hits close to home, pushing her into an uneasy alliance and an interstellar journey built around revenge, justice and saving Krypto.

Supergirl opened in theaters on June 26. Its move to HBO Max now gives the film a second major window after its theatrical and digital releases.

For viewers waiting on the subscription streaming release, the important date is September 10. HBO Max is the confirmed streaming home for the film, while the HBO television premiere follows two days later.
